Bansko lies in the South-western part of Bulgaria, in the heart of the majestic Pirin mountain. There are numerous ways to reach Bansko, as it lies only two hours by car from Sofia.

Quickest route is via the main E79 highway south to Simitli, and then following the well-marked eastbound turn, which will take you through Predela Pass all the way to Bansko.
